No Boat? No Problem—Get Out on the Water with VYC!
Looking to spend more time on the water but don’t own a boat? Vallarta Yacht Club makes it easy to enjoy boating, sailing, fishing, snorkeling, and unforgettable adventures on beautiful Banderas Bay.
VYC members enjoy access to the club’s boat fleet, along with our monthly On the Water Series—a year-round lineup of activities designed for members of all experience levels. Whether you are an experienced sailor, interested in learning new boating skills, or simply want to enjoy a relaxing day on the bay, there is something for everyone.
In addition to time on the water, membership at Vallarta Yacht Club offers social events, dining at Picante Grill, new friendships, volunteer opportunities, and the chance to become part of an active and welcoming community.

Have you been curious about Vallarta Yacht Club but not quite ready to dive in all at once? This summer is the perfect time to come aboard! Vallarta Yacht Club is excited to introduce our Summer Associate Membership Drive, designed especially for those who want to experience the club, meet new people, enjoy our activities, and discover everything VYC has to offer — without a long-term commitment. Whether you are new to the area, looking for a stronger sense of community, interested in sailing, or simply want a welcoming place to connect, dine, volunteer, and have fun, VYC is the place to be.
Summer Membership Promotion
Join as an Associate Member before July 31st and pay only the Associate Membership initiation fee of $6,750 MXN. Even better — enjoy no monthly dues until November 1st, saving you the regular $2,400 MXN monthly dues during the summer promotion period. It is the perfect way to explore the club, get involved, and see why so many members call Vallarta Yacht Club their home away from home.
Love the Club? Upgrade with Ease!
If you decide VYC is the right fit for you, you can upgrade to Flag Membership by November 1st and apply your Associate Membership initiation fee toward your upgrade. Simply pay the additional initiation balance of $6,750 MXN, plus monthly dues based on your age:
- Flag (Age 24-30) MXN $850 monthly
- Flag (Age 31-40) MXN $1050 monthly
- Flag (Age 41-50) MXN $1250 monthly
- Flag (Over 50) MXN $2400 monthly or $23,800 annually (17% off)
VYC Junior Sailing Summer Camp 2026
Discover Adventure, Confidence, and Friendship at VYC Junior Sailing Summer Camp
This summer, Vallarta Yacht Club invites children and teens to step aboard, discover the joy of sailing, and become part of our Junior Sailing family!
VYC Junior Sailing Summer Camp is much more than time on the water. In a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment, young sailors learn the fundamentals of sailing through hands-on instruction from caring, qualified instructors. With personalized attention, each participant is encouraged to learn at their own pace, try new things, and take pride in every accomplishment—from tying their first knot and steering a sailboat to working together as part of a crew.
Along the way, campers develop valuable skills that extend far beyond sailing, including confidence, independence, teamwork, communication, responsibility, decision-making, and respect for the ocean and the environment. Every day brings new adventures, laughter, encouragement, and opportunities to build lasting friendships.
More than a sailing course, VYC Junior Sailing is a place where young people feel welcomed, supported, and inspired. It is where confidence grows, friendships begin, treasured memories are made, and a lifelong love of the sea can take root.

The Final Day in Vallartaville: One More Wild Day in Paradise
Well now, that was one fine way to end a regatta.
The final day of Banderas Bay Regatta XXXIII came in hot, loud, and in absolutely no mood to take it easy on anybody. The shorter courses were welcomed by just about everyone, because by the time the fleet hit the start line, the breeze was already pushing 20 knots and beyond, and boats spent the day wrestling with heavy conditions from start to finish.
If the first two days showed off the beauty of Banderas Bay, the last day reminded everyone that the bay has a little bite in it too.
And honestly, that is part of what makes this place so special.
