We’re delighted to welcome Steve McMullen to the Vallarta Yacht Club—a lifelong entrepreneur from the Toronto area who is embracing a brand-new chapter on the water.
Steve spent most of his working life as an independent businessman, building a successful career through dedication and hard work. His boating background has been primarily in motorboats, with only limited exposure to sailing. But retirement opened the door to new possibilities, new skills, and new adventures.
It was Steve’s friend Lisa, already an active member of the Club, who encouraged him to explore the VYC sailing community. Her suggestion sparked immediate interest. Sailing offered not only the thrill of learning something new, but also the chance to meet people, get involved, and truly connect with life in Puerto Vallarta.
And Steve hasn’t wasted a moment—he has already joined the Membership Committee, jumping right into helping the Club grow and strengthening the community. What a fantastic way to get engaged from day one!
We’re thrilled Steve chose to come aboard and look forward to seeing him on the water and around the Club as he begins this exciting new chapter.
