Celebrate the New Year on the water! The VYC New Years Day Race will be a great way to kick off what is going to be a great racing season at VYC.
This event will be like a Beer Can, but with a modified course to make it interesting! Start will be at 2pm off the Riu Hotel. Race committee will be on VHF 72. Get out there and have fun!

Cruise In Week: Festival de Veleros
The Barra de Navidad Cruise-In Week is a combination of cruiser fun and volunteering to help fundraise for Barra's schools. You will have the opportunity to contribute and volunteer in many ways. Events include spending an evening to enjoy entertainment and locally prepared food, an on-the-water concert, and they the 4th annual Flamingo Regatta boat “FUNd Race”. WesMex International Small Boat Regatta
Since its inaugural event in February 2006, the WesMex Regatta has become Banderas Bay's premier small boat event and one of the most important youth sailing events in Mexico. As one of two "Signature Regattas" hosted by the Vallarta Yacht Club, it is sanctioned by the Mexico Sailing Federation, AMVCO, ILCA Mexico, and iQFoil. This event serves as a key qualifier for the Optimist North Americans, Optimist World Championship, and ILCA Youth World Championships.
