Pacific Puddle Jump Party
On February 6, the Club will join Latitude 38 magazine and Tahiti Tourism in hosting a free Pacific Puddle Jump kickoff party, 2-5 p.m. -- Attendance is limited to those who will be crossing in 2010
The Puddle Jump, of course, refers to the annual springtime migration of cruising sailors from the Americas to French Polynesia.
Latitude staff, and possibly representatives from Tahiti, will be on hand to give a presentation on cruising those fabled islands, and to interview crews for a story in the magazine.
There will also be guest speakers, party games, swag giveaways, snacks and drinks.
Hosting the PPJ party has become an annual Vallarta YC tradition.
