Wednesday, February 29 a new Board of Directors was elected - thank you, Board members, for stepping forward to lend your time and expertise as leadership of the Club! At the Annual General Meeting, the votes were unanimous to elect the following:
Officers:
Commodore - Andy Barrow; Vice Commodore - Leslie Baldwin; Treasurer - Al Benaroya; Rear Commodore - Randy Hough; Secretary - Dee Cockerham
Directors:
Afloat Activities - Mike Danielson; Junior Sailing - Jess Coburn; Public Relations - Dick Williams; Sponsorship/ Volunteerism - Janet Coburn; Ashore Activities - Open
Board Advisors:
Dick Markie (Director appointed by Commodore and Board); Dan Green (position by Constitution declaration)
The month of March is transition, and the new Board will be officially welcomed on Saturday, March 31st at the VYC Change of Watch 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Please join us on the 31st to congratulate our new leaders.
