Sip and Savor Fine Wine, Feast your Eyes on Beautiful Art, and Enjoy an Afternoon with Good Friends
The wine list for this year’s Vallarta Yacht Club Art & Wine Festival is set. And it’s impressive to say the least!
The festival takes place February 18 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Yacht Club.
“We’re excited and pleased with the exceptional quality and variety of our wine and art offerings for this year” said Leslie Baldwin, this year’s festival Chairwoman. “We’ve come up with a wonderful wine menu that will absolutely fascinate and delight festivalgoers. After all, it’s only fitting that a festival with world-class art, music and food also offers delicious wines that you can discover and add to your home wine cellar. In addition, for those who are new to wine tasting, two sommeliers will be on site to help guide you through the process. The wines selected include truly luscious vintages from several outstanding winemakers from regions such as France, Chile, Argentina, and New Zealand to name a few. For those non-oenophiles, a special fresh non-alcoholic beverage will also be available.
This very popular event is open to both members and non-members who wish to taste various wine selections while viewing the arts and crafts of artists in the community. In addition, there is a silent auction that will feature Riedel Wine Glasses, sumptuous gift baskets, various beautiful pieces of Art, and Dinner certificates to fabulous local restaurants. There are also many wonderful raffle items to be won. This event is the sole fundraiser for our club and all of the funds raised, are put back into the club to help maintain equipment and to keep our member dues to a minimum.
