The 8th annual Art and Wine Festival will be held at the Vallarta Yacht Club in Nuevo Vallarta on Sunday, February 21st from 2 to 6 P.M. On display will be works from local artists including painters, metal workers, photographers and jewelry makers from around Banderas Bay.
Wines from Oregon, California and Washington will be featured along with others from around the world including Mexico. There will several classes of wines available to taste from bargain wines to wines costing over $50 a bottle. There will also be complementary gourmet appetizers to accompany the tastings.
Admission to the event is $150 pesos which will give each attendee 10 tasting tickets. More tickets will be available for purchase and favorite wines can be purchased by the glass.
There will also be a silent auction where you can bid on liquors, fine wines, jewelry, and other items. There will also be a raffle of other items and gift certificates donated by local restaurants and gift shops with the grand prize being a 5 liter oak barrel filled with tequila.
